Strategic land assembly is the process of acquiring contiguous lots in order to make larger, more useable parcels. This could be to create green space, or to allow for additional development opportunities in an area. The Erie County Land Bank works with the local community plans in each municipality to determine the best use for land bank properties, and sometimes holds properties for such future plans.
